Boulcott Kitchen & Dining
The foremost motivation behind the refit of the kitchen and dining area was their lack of fuctionality and general gloominess. The solution to this was opening it up - by demolishing the dividing wall and changing the colourway making it light and bright.
The kitchen and dining spaces were switched, with the dining space opening out onto a new deck through french doors fabricated by the same joiner.
Natural materials for the joinery and flooring (contemporary styled cork) were used and a palette put together that would enhance the house and reflect the client themselves being the dwellers.
A warm white lacquer was used for the joinery over marine grade ply, with black accents - speckled composite stone benchtops handles and lightfittings.
Warm LED accent light extrusions and spots were used under overhead storage and in the 'all important' glass display cabinet which can be looked through into the living space.
